A. Why we should listen to our dreams
1. God instructs us through our dreams.
2. He warns us and calls us to change through our dreams.
3. God does significant things within dreams
4. And gives supernatural gifts through dreams
B. 7 Foundational principles for interpreting dreams
1. Most dreams are symbolic.
2. The symbols come from the dreamer's life
3. Most dreams are about current concerns you are facing
4. Interpretation comes from God but must be sought out by you.
5. Your heart will 'bear witness' to the correct interpretation.
6. Dreams reveal things in your life, but not to condemn you.
7.For major decisions, make sure you have additional confirmation.
C. I need help remembering
1. Say to yourself, "I believe that God has a message for me in my dreams."
2. Ask God to speak to you through dreams everytime you fall asleep.
3. Put your journal beside you in bed and immediately record your dreams when you wake up.
4. Get 8 hours of sleep! Usually the last hour is when people dream.
5. Awaken naturally without an alarm. Alarms tend to be dream remembering destroyers.
