we all want to grow, dont we? we all want to go to church every sunday and really get so close to God, and really feel Him right next to you, with you, in you. we all wish that worship every sunday will be such a blast and that we will be filled with that indescribable and uncontainable joy in our hearts.
thats what we all want. thats what we all desire.
but do you really desire that?
do you?

do you really
REALLY have that passion in your heart to see cityteens, and your own spiritual walk grow?
do you?if you answered
YES!!! to the above qsns. then, are you willing to do something about it? are you willing to
STEP OUT OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE NOW and stand up and say YES im going to take the first step, im going to take action, im NOT going to wait for my friends to step out,
but I'LL BE THE ONE who steps out.
you all know what im going to say next. all this things about stepping out of your comfort zone, having that leap of faith, we all heard this COUNTLESS times. but yet we are not doing anything about it.
how many of you here can daresay you do your qt everyday, and u do it because u WANT to do it and not beacause you feel OBLIGED to do it. how many of you really spent that precious amount of time with God praying and meditating on His word?
look if you dont even do that basic step of spending time with God, how can you expect to grow?
look at it this way. how can you expect the plants in your garden to grow if you dont put the effort to water them daily?
similarly, how can you expect your spiritual life to grow if you dont spent time with God daily?
its time. we are all old and mature enough. if there is something pressing in your heart right now you want to do. maybe God has been calling you to do intercession, or log, or singing, or playing the guitar/kb/drums for a really long time. its time to
STEP out and GO, and to have that strong amount of faith in you that God is going to see you through.
who cares whether you can really play. or really sing. if God is gonna use u, He is going to use you mightily. a good singer does not equate to a good worship leader.
along the way, you will meet people that will bring you down, they will talk bad about you, your singing, your playing, your powerpoint designing, whatever. but whats most important here is that you have to realise you are doing this all for God. and when you play/sing/log you are doing it with a
heart of HUMILITY not to show people that HEY LOOK I CAN SING SO WELL, but to show God HEY GOD IM HERE TO WORSHIP YOU FROM MY
HEART.
focus on God, not man. for man always fail us, always hurt us, but God is always there for us, with us, in us.
the important thing about serving in a ministry, is that you always have to keep in mind that you are serving in a ministry for God.
Not man.
but God.so if God's been calling you, or you have that deep desire in your heart now. lets step out in faith and
go.worship team audits this sunday, 2pm, adelphi. for singers, drummers, keyboardist and guitarist. songs will be shown on the day itself=)
